Job Opportunity: Legal Advisor at the National Institute of Health, Islamabad
The National Institute of Health (NIH) in Islamabad is inviting applications for the position of Legal Advisor. This role is ideal for a seasoned legal professional looking to make a meaningful contribution to a prominent public sector organization.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: LLB or LLM from a Higher Education Commission (HEC)-recognized university or a reputable foreign university.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in legal research, advisory roles, litigation, and drafting legal instruments.
- Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks in Pakistan.
- Experience in legislative drafting, including creating rules and regulations.
- Comprehensive understanding of national and international laws.
- Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, research, interpretation, and legal representation.
- High ethical standards and the ability to work well in a team.
- Age Limit: 30-45 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on regulatory and legal issues.
- Oversee and manage the organization’s legal affairs.
- Draft, review, and finalize agreements, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), and other legal documents.
- Assist in legal due diligence processes.
- Represent the organization in judicial forums and courts, including High Courts.
- Offer legal opinions on complex corporate matters.
